Apple Maps’ Look Around feature has landed in Los Angeles, and it works beautifully.

The similarity of the Apple Maps feature to Google’s Street View is fairly succinct. I’d say that they’re about equal. Here’s a look at the outside of my home, via the Apple Maps app.

I’m in favor of supporting Apple Maps, and Apple Development efforts, in general, so this was a pleasing feature to see come to light, and I’m sure it will bode well with newer iOS and iPadOS users (perhaps watchOS as well). 

CapitalOne provides great deals (comparatively) after establishing credit with ‘credit builder’ credit cards, (and the credit building happened quickly!). 

I commonly check my credit on creditkarma.com. Recently, I applied for credit with fingerhut.com, an online retailer of multitudes of goods. Somewhat a drop-shipper, and I applied for a credit card with First Premier Bank. I was approved for $300 and $500, respectively. Since then, I purchased my 2019 model 7th generation iPad 128 GB device on the First Premier credit card. I made the first month’s payment on the card, and now my credit scores have increased. 

This time around, when I logged in, I was offered a CapitalOne credit card. The backdrop to this was that I opened a CapitalOne 360 Savings account, which I was approved for. (I was declined for a checking account).

After I signed up and was approved for a CapitalOne 360 Performance Savings account, I went on to creditkarma.com and signed up for the CapitalOne Platinum credit card. I was approved for $300 in credit. 

I’m not really worried about the APR. I’m much better at managing my finances, now that I’m Moore grown up. Back in my early adult ages, credit was a thing of much maniacal behavior and impulsive decisions. Now, I have bigger and better things to look forward to in life, such as an iPad Air.

My Nicotiana tabacum seedlings have sprouted. Hooray for a mild and early spring in South Los Angeles!

I’ve moved out of my old apartment, the nuclear watershed. It was getting gruesome with all of the cockroaches in there. I tried sprouting some seedlings back then, and the bugs always managed to sneak in and eat them, or the seeds just wouldn’t sprout, as I tried to sprout them, indoors. Here, I have a small space in the back of the driveway, and there’s a natural progression of daytime and night. The nights do get cold, but I figure that the Nicotiana plant is a a vari-some plant - it grows in tropical climates, such as Cuba, and it forges through the cold winters, and it sprouts in the later spring seasons of places such as New England. I’ll be glad to s see these young several varietals in to their leafing and flowering stages, and hopefully, after a series of hot months in the late spring, I’ll be set about in curing these plants for cigarette and cigar tobacco production, or maybe I’ll experimement with snuff tobacco manufacturing.

For many people entering in to the development foray on mobile devices (largely); these are imaginably novices (admittedly) in developing their interests and skills in running and managing a Linux distro on meager resources (although time-scaled duplicity and miniaturization [nano] has produced a leaner showing of some breadwinners of iPigeons tech food diet intake, and two of these operating system and integrated development environment platforms stand at the forefront of popularity and adopt-ed-ness amongst those developing within the aforementioned constraints.

But it just doesn't. Ostensibly,  it's a cruelty game of virtualization environments that download the significant features of a platform compiler release, but the functionality fwopps one in to the toilet, of a much unexpectedly needful trip to the toilet of on slage.

Okay.  The pigeons thing is just my thing,  to a large degree. 

But autotools Gnome package manager tools and code language compiler, independent of choice? - still works,  but once you get the stuff of how it works,  it'll slage a way of on bwaff of "nahh, I wouldn't doubt that such and such,  yeah I wear my clothes for weeks on end,  and slage,  but it's totally different for other people." 

Sort of thing. 

Ostensibly,  some homeless encampments down off of Beverly or up Temple, or something - got a dump of clothing charity of more than ostensibly necessary or needed, right now,  but oh? 

For someone out there,  (I took a shower softer I took a sweater from the stuff last night), there's clothes out on the street right now, over there.  

True,  the pleasure of running a Graphical User Interface application that was a la carte built from source is a manifold pleasurable thing,  and skill,  but now you're high-flying, running your Gnome autotools ./configure | make | sudo make install | aclocal.m4 

and stuff...

Trekking out to Santa Monica on a craigslist hardware barter.

I found a great deal while browsing craigslist on the notion that I'd been hitting a wall with my iPad (iPigeonPad) development efforts under my annual term I'd purchased with the Apple Developer Program.  Only $150.

In order to do some essential tasks, render services,  issue certificates; that sort of thing,  for my mock-up conceptual Apple iPadOS,  iOS,  tvOS,  and watchOS, I'd need a dedicated Xcode Apple development machine. I found a great deal on a 2010 21-inch iMac i3 with a 2TB upgraded hard drive,  and 12 GB of RAM. I figure I could get in to some serious repository local serve development aspirations and Android NDK and SDK for my Google and Android developments,  as well. 

The seller, upon working out some details on my own end,  as to how I could find this transaction, was very accommodating of my ostensible needs for this machine (in that I could OK longer return the iPad to Target, and he agreed to take up my offer of an even trade for his iMac, with my iPad).

I decided to jump the gun and settle for a trade,  for a well-equipped and upgraded older device,  in this instance,  for the fact that I figured that people were pushing for Christmas deals, and Christmas devices,  this month, moreso than they might be next month.

Outside of jailbreaking your iOS device that you would otherwise intend to use for Apple’s Developer Program development, there aren’t many easily discoverable (and free) bash shell command line interfaces à la Mac OS X like many of us, in this generation, had grown up with and are fond of, when it comes time to sudo root out a fixie solution for developing on our native operating system and devices. By the way, jailbreaking your iOS device under the Apple Developer Program’s Terms of Service and License Agreements is not allowed, for various reasons which apparently void the AppleCare on a device. 

However, for the die-hard searchers who are done trying to jailbreak their device, play by the rules, and seek out legitimate and ordained solutions in their quest to maintain legacy habits of command-line interface device and UNIX-based OS development, I (just today) discovered a great app solution that fits this problem just right, through Apple’s TestFlight, a beta app distribution interface, feedback and user ticketing service on osxdaily.com, where they feature a Linux shell app that runs Alpine Linux through the host device’s RAM (to begin with), and allows the user to use the ‘apk’ command to search for and install packages from repositories to make a quick ad hoc Linux distro on an iOS | iPadOS device. I’ve just started to delve in to the bash shell command line interface basis of development again, so I’m a bit rusty, although I had just configured a nice Debian Linux base, core, and unstable packages installation on one of my Google Android OS (TCL) smartphones using Termux from the Google Play Store. As it turns out, many of the repositories used for developing both iOS and Android apps and programs are the same, essentially, when taking in to consideration the source code foundations of the development libraries, binaries, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The difficulty I’d been having on the iPadOS format is due to some of the intrinsic values that Apple implements in their App Store and Developer Program offerings of terms of service with development standards such as Java, which is one of the formative pillars of the MAC OS X operating system - they don’t want package archives and resources to execute script and codes outside of having been approved for and distributed under signed certificates that the Apple Developer Program system has as part of the app Production process.

I've been digging heavily in to the resource downloads and documentation of iPadOS and related Apple Developer topics since I purchased my iPad. 

It's been a tough transition in to the Autumn season, as the stuff going on aside from my work, of unrelated personal strife [long story 🙄] due to unforeseen circumstances, {... <_ blockquote="" etc.="">

I hadn't made it on to Tumblr recently, anyhow, so I'm not exactly sure if it was largely a big 2017 thing, or what, but I did seem to notice that 2018 was a bit less celebratory about inkTober, 

- which is a Tumblr thing.

I had my own concurrent developments in to ink brush illustration work, on paper, completely autonomously of any awareness that an inkTober celebration of ink illustrative works was in the making, behind the scenes, but I definitely didn't miss it, as Tumblr, at the time, was my preferred blogging platform, and they had some good obscure cultural finery of literary and otherwise digital publication stuff going on, as well.

I use #hashtags on my social media accounts when I'm starting out an account that I'm trying to send some feelers out as for my potential reach and affections that I might get for my compositional offerings, at least of my visual works. My written works tend to get me hits, but not really much feedback, otherwise. I suppose that's typical of a solitary writer | blogger enterprise of "just some guy." 

As I'd been working on I/O next 20¹9-ing my iPigeonPad development device enterprise applications and services [self-]modules out, over several thousands of pages of documentation and hundreds of gigabytes of downloads, amidst trying to catalog and annotate some of it, in my cloud storage configurations, I'd obviously have had been doing the .icu internationalizations, transliterations, and localizations thing to the best of my Google- and Apple-glot babbel configurative and formative written-works (behind-the-scenes) studies

The initiative provides $24 million in funding and spans an area of 2.8 miles, according to urbanize.la. 

A particularly exciting note on the project (for me) is the declaration of a mixed use hydroponic farm lot at the corner of 94th at Broadway - just several streets down from where I live now. It seems like the notions I had floating about in my mind about these developments had turned out to be true. It's great to see that these initiatives are coming through, in reality.
