As far as nicotine vapes (smokeless inhalers) go, a relatively new geeky phenomenon has hit the streets (literally). The Geek Bar Pulse product line is a new, emergent brand that has various special features

I say "hit the streets," because it would seem that the custom is to throw away the Geek Bar, once the LCD juice meter hits 0 - one of the new features of this generation of vapes is that they include LCD screens that show the battery life left, as well as the vape juice left (the standard Geek Bar Pulse holds 16 mL of fluid, and features a 650 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery.

My Geek Bar Pulse, displaying its battery life and vape juice left. |
I've found a few Geek Bars, laying out on the street; one in the trash, where the juice level was at 0%, and the product still lasted me for weeks. It's an ingenious organic marketing technique, for a cyclical economy. See? I ended up buying my own. I tried out the "Fcuking Fab" flavor, which is an intensely fruity flavor. The percentages at work here demonstrate how long the vape lasts a person - by the time I took the above photo, I had already been using the vape for several hours; the percentage of juice shows 99%.
This type of LCD display has become a new trend, amongst nicotine vapes manufacturers, with many brands developing similarly themed LCD battery life and vape juice left percentage displays, on their rechargeable USB-C devices. The Geek Bar was the first I encountered, which had these features, and it's a true delight to own one, and it's worth a trip out to a place like Glendale, where I found one for $22, flat, at Roupik Smoke Shop, after some run around with a different vendor, whose website left me out in the heat, so to speak, when I showed up to their location to purchase a vape, only to encounter a locked door. It was my early morning's aspiration to make the day a vape deal procurement day.
Update: I’ve come to find (some time after posting this article, initially), that DTLA Smoke Shop had been selling Geek Bar Pulse devices at competitive prices, comparable, or better than Glendale’s smoke shops that I’d visited. It was just a fit of fanciful notions, in the end, of that I believed that Glendale should, or would be priced better. My recommendation: the Cola Slush big Geek Bar, with a really authentic flavor of cola slushies, especially at the beginning of using it. I got my last Geek Bar to last me about 2 months, I’d estimate, before it started getting too old to enjoy using anymore. At around $26, the large size Geek Bar Pulse is an economical solution to fitting some nicotine recreation time in to a busy schedule, or when you’d like to sneak a hit, really quick, in an otherwise inappropriate situation or location. Most people don’t seem to mind. The manufacturer takes it kind of light, on the actual nicotine content of it, but there are stores that sell unflavored nicotine juice, that could be added to the Geek Bar, with an easy top-off disassembly feature to its design.
